Bring On The Maters!

Well, it ain't much, but I'll take it. There have been 2 major micro-cell weather events during the life of my plant, each with 30-40 mph winds. These took their toll. A number of the larger branches are kind of jacked up because they started off growing sort of like a "U" or a "J" and now are mostly hanging down. This caused the branch to split in the middle, along the length of the branch. Not conducive to healthy tomato growth. The leaves and smaller branches are also a little sickly looking.

In addition, a wren is nesting in the top of the planter. She and her younguns get a nice little shower each morning! ;-)
